During my high school days, I’ve always wanted to either become a doctor or an employee of a very prestigious and well-known company that would be more than happy to give me a salary that would allow me to save and become a millionaire. Because let’s face it, we all want to become millionaires when we get older right? But as I grew older and gained more knowledge about the real world that we are living in, I’ve thought to myself “Why would I want to work for a company and RECEIVE a salary if I could create my own company and be able to GIVE that kind of salary to my employees?”. I’ve gained a deeper understanding on how to obtain more by creating a new path to which I can pursue what I truly want and what I truly believe in. I took up BS Entrepreneurship when I entered College. As a student of the University of Santo Tomas under the Entrepreneurship Program, I am now well-equipped with the proper knowledge of how to start and actually manage your own business.
While we are studying, I’ve learned to love learning about businesses more and on how they work and on how they are able to actually dominate in their chosen industries and create a path that others are striving to replicate. I’ve learned to become addicted to that kind of feeling of both anxiety and excitement every time that we will be opening in a new event and joining a different bazaar. The feeling of becoming your own boss rather than to work for a boss gave me more boost in pursuing my business. And being able to actually do and create the things that you want to create and offer to people really gets me thrilled. Though I was given quite a few offers for a job, I’ve turned them all down because I know that focusing in my business would allow me to reach greater heights faster and achieve more goals without any distractions. As an entrepreneur, you’re given this unlimited amount of space to grow and learn, create new things, meet more people, offer more things, and just simply make more people happy. This is why I became an entrepreneur, this is why I love creating new businesses and helping more people.
Starting my own business will not always be fun and easy, there’s always going to be hardships and problems to face, but I know that after all those hardships and troubles, it’ll be all worth it in the future.
